One of the most healing things is nature. It is the best form of meditation. There are messages everywhere.

Pay attention to the insects or animals you see. They all have a message for you. My guides were on me to take a break and to take a walk in nature again. I saw martins, I didn’t even know we had these great little birds in our state.  I stood about three ft away as they balanced on golden rod trying to eat the flowers. There were acorns that crunched under my shoes. I decided to pickup two of the acorns for my faery collection. I also found another acorn that still had its cap attached so I picked that one up as well.

The weather was sunny but not hot. It was the perfect temperature. I got to enjoy the trail as I walked along. I got to lose myself in the walk. This is my perfect time with nature.  I decided to finally stop, when I found a large boulder to sit on. I think I sat there for about 10 min. I enjoyed looking at the mighty large oak trees all around. They created a beautiful canopy.

Finally I decided it was time to go back. On my way back on the trail. A runner had quietly snuck up on me and I jumped when he was about to pass me. It was amazing how quiet and peaceful it was. I had forgotten how much I missed being there.
