I always find it interesting, that when you look at the friends in your life and then look at the family members you have. You suddenly start to see who is Aunt Lucy and who is Uncle Jo. It’s almost like the personalities are a match to your family members.

It starts to look like they were cast to play those roles. On some levels, I almost wonder if the souls of your family members aren’t also in those people that you know to be your friends. The friendship usually comes to an end when you finally realize who they remind you of. The funniest thing, is that some of them actually look like some of your family members. The similarities are uncanny. The mannerisms, its like they’ve studied the scripts in great detail. I know that in these relationships there is a lesson and an opportunity for each soul to grow.

At any given moment, one is the teacher and the other is the student. Sometimes both are the student and they just don’t know it. The Universe has an interesting way of allowing the soul to grow. It is patient, as it allows the lessons that need to be learned play out.

Game of Life

It always amazes me that we don’t get instruction booklets on how to play this game we call life.

When we play any other game there are instructions that come with it. Strategies on how to win or accumulate more of something than another player.

It always amuses me that people think that others just like to be poor and not live a better standard of life.

The people who have a higher standard of living and are actually enjoying their lives think that what they were taught is taught in a class room or in everyone’s home. Nothing could be farther than the truth. It like that game where is Waldo? Well if you don’t know what you’re looking for it can be a long, long journey. You know somethings missing. You know that others have gotten there before you but you have no idea on where that map on how to get there is.

These skills are not taught in a school, college or university. They should be but they aren’t. When you start to learn the rules of the game! Life does become so. . .  much easier. I think that classes on table manners should be taught in schools and it’s not. It is expected that you would know them already but most people don’t which is why they don’t usually go up to the next level.

There are secrets about handling money that many are not taught except by their parents. The wealthy usually think these are lessons that everyone should know but they don’t. The reason that wealthy people pass these lesson on to their children is that if they don’t the next generation will become poorer than the last and not have something to pass on to the next generation.

Most people have this vision in their head of how they think the wealthy live and then are surprised when they themselves end up broke. It is like anything the more you practice the more you learn the flaws in your thinking. It is like anything you must have a strategy on what you want and then take the steps to acquire those skills to reach those goals. Sometimes you might have more than one goal so you take baby steps to get to those goals but if one step is going to build on another you might have a mentor or coach to help you with that. This way you not wasting energy or money spinning your wheels.
