The New Factories!

In the 21st Century Corporations have become the new factories. They treat their employees like a metric game. They expect production norms to apply to professional careers as well as their plant employees. They expect nothing less than they’re numbers on a spread sheet. Many forget some important things, people have feelings and limited amounts of time to give to tasks. People are not robots or machines. Many people have financial responsibilities that require a certain income to be met in order to accept jobs.

The US has become a third world country for many americans instead of a prosperous country with opportunities. Many have watched their income become slashed to that of an unskilled worker and are treated as such. Universities are not a key to a better living any more. Tech & Trade schools are an opportunity to reclaim one’s independence and freedom. Working for one’s self is the only key to determining how much you will make based on this current economy.

This is a very crucial time, we will see if the next American Revolution is around the corner as people get pushed to a breaking point.

Awakening & Doing What I Love

Awakening & Doing What I Love
By Penny Johnson | Published: January 1, 2010

My journey started when I was finally ready to start a master’s program. I knew there would be changes. I’ve had people ask me if I thought they would enjoy taking intuitive classes. I always respond: “If you like your life the way it is, it will definitely change once you start taking intuitive classes. You won’t be the same person that you were.”

Yes, we change and grow, but the relationships that we value might not be there any more. Just because we are changing doesn’t give us the right to make other people change. Especially if they’re happy the way they are.

My day job started to get more and more affected by the economy as it started to spiral out of control. I knew when I started my master’s program that I might not be able to stay in the corporate arena. I was getting closer to completing my classes. I was reading a book for one of my classes on near-death experiences, and suddenly had a person show up at one of the expos to tell me about his near-death experience and how it changed his life. It was so spiritually weird, in a good way.

I was starting another class on manifesting, about energy shifts, and again the synchronicities appeared. I would think about something and it would show up in about three days. I had known that my day job was going away. What I didn’t realize was how bad the economy had begun to get. It’s much easier to be objective if you are living it, rather than only observing it.
When my day job finally bit the dust, I was stunned for about two days — and then I was incredibly happy! If I could have done cartwheels, I think I would have! I felt so light! I had been feeling lighter when I was away from my job, and when I would have to go back, I would feel heavy and anxious.
I am trying to see what will be open to me. I have started to write things that I love to write for myself. I have started to enjoy my solitude, and really enjoy when I make a meal for myself.

Not sure what the future holds? That’s the funny thing about us psychics. Even we go to other psychics, to get a different perspective. I was told that I would be able to do my work full time? We’ll see? I’m almost done with my studies — and boy, am I ready to be done. I have loved the journey to getting here!

I do love doing what I do, and my clients are always so incredible. I am incorporating more healing into my practice and I’m getting very excited about that. I find that it really is true that sometimes we are the teacher and other times the student. It will be incredibly interesting to see where I end up. I know better than to say that I want “x” because I will usually end up with “z.”

You can have your plan, but sometimes that destination has other things to teach you.

The Economy and the Holistic Community

Intuitives respond: The Economy and the Holistic Community
By Penny Johnson | Originally published: May, 2010

The impressions that I’m getting from my Guides and Angels tell me that banks and the financial industry is in for another round of what happened in 2008. It might hit this year, or next year, again because the greedy people and companies have learned nothing.

I also think the judicial branch and government in general are in for a rude awakening. I think there will be a revolution, because people are tired of picking up the tab for greedy and irresponsible companies. We will have a new government that totally has a clue about serving the people, and the same for our justice system. Right now this justice system is not for the people. It supports big industry and the elitists.

The days for the Big Titans are coming to an end. People cannot connect to a big, heartless company. People want relationships with companies that are there for them. They don’t want surface relationships with someone that would heartlessly throw you out of your home in a bad economy.

Small businesses that are built on relationships will survive. These are people who talk to your face and not behind your back at a meeting. The businesses that focus on money first and the client second will not survive. People who love giving their services to their clients because they create a caring relationship will sustain themselves. The money will flow in more and more. The focus is on the relationship and not about the money.

Many who operate holistic businesses freak out about paying the bills and then they focus on the money. That worry tends to draw poverty consciousness to you. When you are enjoying what you do, and when you enjoy your relationship with your customers, the money will begin to flow inward. Your customers will surprise you in good ways and more good and positive things will start to roll in.

To get out of the spiral of freaking out about paying bills, sometimes we have to take baby steps, because we really can’t see the big picture. We really don’t know which way to turn, because we’re in that energy of chaos. Most of us have been there at one time or another. We call this “hitting rock bottom.” Make a list of things that you need to do with your business or life. Start to get some clarity. The next step is to go through the list, item by item, and see which priority feels easiest to do, and then do it. As we slowly emerge out of chaos, we will see the lightness around us instead of all the heavy energy.

One last thing: Your deceased loved ones and ancestors are always watching over you. Sometimes you will catch a whiff of their perfume or after shave lotion. They love you very much and are with you on this journey.
