Are You In The Right Gear?

Bringing in the life you want can be like driving a stick shift. If you’re faking your calmness but not really feeling it. You might be close but just not in gear yet. When you’re in that inner peace calm. You know that things are coming your way. The Universe has your back and you will not fall into that panic freaked out state.

By being in that inner peace of calm, you are staying grounded so that you can accept the good things that will be manifesting soon in your life. This calm is a guidance that your on the right path. When you lose this calm for longer than a day or two. Back track to see where you lost that calm feeling? When your fearful, your on the wrong path or you might have missed your turn on the road.

It’s harder to make changes for the positive when you’re in chaos mode. You will notice more of what you didn’t want coming into being. Even if you have to go to a library to find that calm or a museum. The pay off is worth it! By having more and more moments of calm in your life it will allow you to start to shift the things in your life more easily.

When your committed to healthier changes, you will start to see doors opening up to you that were closed before. In some cases it will be like pebbles showing you the path that you weren’t able to see before. Once you’ve reached one goal it will seem as if more steps building upon each other to get you to the next goal if its achievable in a short time? I say achievable, because if you need to learn more things to reach the next step. It might seem as if the next step is just a little bit out of reach.

Once you are ready for more and more steps the changes will fall into place a lot more easily. Pay attention to the details, each goal might have more or fewer steps. Sometimes, it’s all about the journey and not the destination. Things that can seem as if they are failures might be the stepping-stones we needed to show us that we didn’t really want that path at all.

Getting Back Our Sanity

When you’ve had enough of crazy, and decided to take back your life. You can start with baby steps. You can either look at the controlling people in your life or the people who are a pain in the ass in your life. They usually end up being the same.

Turn off the news be it cable, computer, tv or radio. You’ll feel much better and actually able to do more in your life. No one needs portable instant stress in their life. Most of you have probably never allowed your home to be totally silent. It might feel strange at first but once you do it. You’ll be amazed at how much calmer you will feel.  You will feel your shoulders and breathing relax more.

Your probably thinking that there is no possible way to get rid of those annoying people in your life. That little invention of caller id, voice mail or answering machine is the answer to those problems. Nothing wrong with screening your calls. It encourages the to move on to someone else or to actually work on getting a life of their own.

Boundaries are not just for land or homes. When you teach people boundaries, you are teaching them respect. You are telling them that you are not a door mat to be walked all over. You are an individual that has a life, thoughts and feelings of your own. You don’t need outside advise that’s not asked for. You are not a child but an adult that deserves to be treated with equal respect.

Something Special

One of the nicest things to do for yourself is make or buy something that is special to you. You don’t have to spend a lot of money. The objective is not to just purchase or make something nice for yourself; it is to do something that makes you feel at peace with yourself and calm in general. We take so much for granted sometimes in our everyday life that we forget to pay attention to things that really matter in our lives.

By being more aware of what brings you peace and calmness. You will attract more of that type of energy into your life and reduce the stress in it. You will be focussing on what you would like to be part of your life. Your life is more filled with beautiful moments because they are more conscious moments in your life. These small and simple changes can bring in some really wonderful changes.

You start to see more money in your life from a new job. Maybe you find a house that fits your personality better. By bringing more beauty into your life. You start to see more beautiful moments in your life with the  you spend your time with.

Buying yourself flowers that you find visually pleasing or a perfume that makes you feel special that is worn for special occasions. It can be a really nice bottle of wine or music that you’ve wanted to get.  It can be as big or small just so it makes you feel calm and peaceful when you use, taste or listen to it.

By being more at peace and calm we attract things to us more easily than we can when we’re stressed out and unfocused. This is why we sometimes see a person suddenly get all these wonderful or not so wonderful changes that seem to cascade in people’s lives sometimes. That doesn’t mean that people don’t sometimes have moments where their world seems to be out of control. It means that they might be ready for new changes and things are making way for the new by exiting the old.
