Small Victories

No matter big or small, it’s always important to celebrate those changes in our life or environment. You can start any where? Sometimes its a desk or a chair, it might be dusting it or removing papers that have been there for a long time. Just by starting to go through a stack of papers and deciding if we can finally let it go or if it needs to be kept. It is these small steps that lead to our victories.

As we clear what no longer serves us we start to feel lighter. This helps to create opportunities that start to materialize in our physical world. When you pick something up in your house or office. Focus on how it feels to you? When you hold it are you feeling heavy or lighter? Does it make you feel happy or sad? This will help you decide if it has a place still in your life.

Even looking at your life. Are you happy where you are in your life? Did your life get better in this last year? Stay the same or get worse? Is this something you can change or is it something that really is beyond your control. If it’s not something, you can change. Then make only changes to the places in your life that you do have control over and see if something doesn’t start to move and change for the better.

Even if it is the smallest victory celebrate or give gratitude for it. These are building blocks that help build momentum for changes that we need. If you’ve had to deal with an extremely abusive relationship in your life or work life. We sometimes go through periods of forced sabbatical. This is the Universes way of giving us time to heal.

The Demise of the Corporate Economy

More businesses are very short-sighted when it comes to running their organizations. They are all about the quick buck. They don’t think long-term, They are using technology like it has all the answers without using any common sense. It’s like using a hammer to cut wood instead of a saw. Here’s the thing, different parts of the organization need to use different tools. These metrics serve no purpose when they aren’t being used correctly.

There is no margin calculated in for problems or errors in these formulas. Which can lead to wrong decision-making, planning and budgeting. There is this fast food mentality when it comes to metrics. No one is taking the time to use these tools correctly or with responsibility. It’s as though the main purpose is to suck the fun and life out of the process of a task.

Any error in these processes is met with severe consequences. These big organizations are trying to be something they aren’t. They try to act as though they’re open to new ideas or change but only on their time schedule. This is why small businesses will prevail. They don’t treat their employees like machines. They don’t jump on the latest toys. They know that people make mistakes and there can be errors and they figure them into the equation.

Large corporations are too busy running every part of their organization as though it’s an assembly line. This  model doesn’t work for accounting, IT or other parts of an organization. It’s insane and it doesn’t make any sense. You will have high turnover, unhappy employees who are burned out quickly. Lack of idea sharing because of how their treated.

Large companies try to save money by using tools that are designed for small businesses. Instead of using the tools that were designed for larger corporations. This causes the tools to bog down and work efficiently. These companies can go to the other side of the spectrum and use dangerous software which can compromise the organization with malware.

These are the same organizations throwing money at the politicians in elections. Is it any wonder our economy and government is a mess.

Smoke and Mirrors

One thing I’ve noticed more and more is that it’s becoming fashionable to be racist in America.

Some leaders use it as a shield, they themselves were never a slave but they use it in the argument against another race. They refuse to take an honest look at their life and make the changes to it to become more empowered. If they don’t want to have an employer then create your own business or stair step it until you get to your ideal business.

One fact is that it’s hard for any small business to get loans or funding. Stated income will be your hardest thing to prove to even get the loan. That’s why SBA (Small Business Administration) was created to give them the funding that they need. There are more organizations, it’s just a matter of finding them.

One thing that I’ve noticed is that it’s a circus. There is no such thing as security. Those days are long gone. Our reality is that there is outsourcing. Contractors that work on a project until that project is cut or done. There aren’t that many employees in the Corporations any more. When they retire, they will either be replaced by a contractor or that position won’t be replaced at all.

Corporations are also making a lot of mistakes that will be their demise in the not to distant future. The CEO’s of these companies have never had to create a business. Most of them don’t even know how. They are taught business models. I’m pretty sure they aren’t being taught how to maintain relationships. They have such busy lives that , it’s amazing if they have a personal relationship to come home to.

They think that transparency is a surface thing. Consumers are much more sophisticated than they think. People that are lied to don’t forgive or trust easily. One of the things that is so easy to fix is to improve the machines that they’re using. Listen to they’re employee’s ideas. When you treat your employees and consumers like their disposable. You’ll soon find yourself out of business.

We have a lot of wasted human capital in this country. These people have a lot of experience under their belts that could help these giant corporations save time and money. Hopefully the smaller and middle businesses in this country aren’t so foolish. This will help them grow and stay competitive and out maneuver  these giants.

Right now it feels like all of us are being under valued and over taxed. It definitely doesn’t feel like freedom. It feels like slavery. I do think this country is going through a revolution. Revolutions don’t have to be violent, they can be powerful by making people more aware of their experiences. That doesn’t mean telling them what they’re feeling. The truth has a way of surfacing and the TRUTH is coming out loud and clear every day. It will be more evident in what businesses and organizations survive.

A New Age

I think it’s very interesting that with the Depression we’ve been in since 2001. I am seeing more and more businesses start to crumble. The sheer greed of these share holders is amazing. It reminds me of another time, 1987-88. There was a new mall that had just opened up and it was demanding to hold shares of every store that was renting from them. These businesses agreed never thinking that these share holders would try to see their shares in such a short time causing these a big cascading effect on these businesses. The businesses started to fall like dominoes and the mall was soon having to look for more tenants as these business started to fail.

These were not new small business owners that were unseasoned. These were large businesses. I am seeing the same mistakes being made not only in retail businesses but large billion dollar corporations. Where the share holders are demanding to see their dividends or they’ll walk. FYI in bad economies all businesses put their money back into their businesses not paying out dividends like the share holders have won the lottery.

This is why the small business will start to surge fore-ward like a race horse that’s been held back by its handler so it can finally surge fore-ward ahead of the pack. In the finish line, it will be the small business owner that will win. The know their business from the ground up. They don’t answer to a willful temper tantrum child.

Most of these Organizations don’t fully understand technology and are under utilizing what they need to keep operating. I am starting to see drone people. This is not innovative or creative. When you have robot people, you have a stagnant organization. I’ve seen people who look like the glee club for the organization in their marketing departments. These organizations have become Cults where there people only know the organization. They can not even bring any new or fresh ideas to the table.

Business is so blind to staying alive ahead of its competition that its ignored key data. In the 1920’s it clearly showed that you do not get better results from your employees by working them over 8 hrs a day. You get burnt out and resentful employees that stop caring because you stopped caring about them.

As we get closer to the end of this year we will see more and more obvious mistakes of these large organizations as they start to tumble like dominoes. They’re era is starting to end with more and more people becoming dissatisfied with how they are being treated. When you have robot people, your more likely to have Postal people.

R.I.P large organizations and government will soon follow. This year will start to be the death of structures that trample Peoples civil rights.

The Economy and the Holistic Community

Intuitives respond: The Economy and the Holistic Community
By Penny Johnson | Originally published: May, 2010

The impressions that I’m getting from my Guides and Angels tell me that banks and the financial industry is in for another round of what happened in 2008. It might hit this year, or next year, again because the greedy people and companies have learned nothing.

I also think the judicial branch and government in general are in for a rude awakening. I think there will be a revolution, because people are tired of picking up the tab for greedy and irresponsible companies. We will have a new government that totally has a clue about serving the people, and the same for our justice system. Right now this justice system is not for the people. It supports big industry and the elitists.

The days for the Big Titans are coming to an end. People cannot connect to a big, heartless company. People want relationships with companies that are there for them. They don’t want surface relationships with someone that would heartlessly throw you out of your home in a bad economy.

Small businesses that are built on relationships will survive. These are people who talk to your face and not behind your back at a meeting. The businesses that focus on money first and the client second will not survive. People who love giving their services to their clients because they create a caring relationship will sustain themselves. The money will flow in more and more. The focus is on the relationship and not about the money.

Many who operate holistic businesses freak out about paying the bills and then they focus on the money. That worry tends to draw poverty consciousness to you. When you are enjoying what you do, and when you enjoy your relationship with your customers, the money will begin to flow inward. Your customers will surprise you in good ways and more good and positive things will start to roll in.

To get out of the spiral of freaking out about paying bills, sometimes we have to take baby steps, because we really can’t see the big picture. We really don’t know which way to turn, because we’re in that energy of chaos. Most of us have been there at one time or another. We call this “hitting rock bottom.” Make a list of things that you need to do with your business or life. Start to get some clarity. The next step is to go through the list, item by item, and see which priority feels easiest to do, and then do it. As we slowly emerge out of chaos, we will see the lightness around us instead of all the heavy energy.

One last thing: Your deceased loved ones and ancestors are always watching over you. Sometimes you will catch a whiff of their perfume or after shave lotion. They love you very much and are with you on this journey.
