Ascension

Many people hear this word and automatically assume it’s religious. It actually doesn’t even belong to religion, just as angels aren’t a part of religion. They’ve been hi-jacked by religion as part of their marketing. It is sort of like how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. That is the best way, I can think to explain this. Just as a caterpillar needs to do certain things so do humans.

It is about being willing to connect with source. Source is the Universal Intelligence. It doesn’t have a gender. This does not mean that people who are pagan or heathen are exempt from ascension. It is about being open to grow and stretch your beliefs and knowledge. This is not some elitist club! Everyone is unique and not a cookie cutter image. Each person will grow and ascend when they are ready. This is not about a particular time frame it never was.

The Mayan and Inca culture, ascended when they were ready. While other civilizations on this planet remained in their own reality. There are many realities in this Universe. We live in a multiverse. The possibilities are endless. This is not about being good or bad. This isn’t Santa’s naughty list. Trying to describe ascension symptoms can be challenging because not everyone goes through them the same order or the same way.

It’s about being mature as a soul and ready for the next adventure so to speak. Many have seen the physical body change into a crystalline form. Is this literal? Not sure? Some of the past civilizations have gone into a different frequency. Example: You listen to the radio. You can’t hear something on an FM station if your listening to the AM station.

That is the best I can give you, how do you know when you’ve finally ascended. I can’t give you that answer either. I just don’t know. All I know is that for some of us, we are getting closer to ascension. With these changes, if you are in a relationship. The relationship might or might not survive. This is not a rejection of that partner. It is just that you might not be on the same page. Do not push what your feeling or experiencing on them to change.

Once you have started to experience this you can’t go back to being asleep. This is to move you along your personal path. These paths are for the individual alone. This is not a group field trip so to speak. After all this is your life. You need to find out who you are as a person. The good, bad and the ugly. This is not about judgement. You don’t even get to judge you. This is about learning to accept yourself warts and all.

Nature itself is not perfect, which is why it is so . . . perfect. It is these imperfections that make us unique and rare. It is what makes life so . . . very interesting. If we really all looked alike it would be the most boring thing. It would bring about stagnation and death to all creativity. So embrace who you are, change the things you want to change for you and you alone.

The Play of Mystic

The Play of Mystic
by Penny Johnson

My kitten Mystic has taught me that no matter how old we are, we still need play. I adopted Mystic three weeks after saying good-bye to a very dear cat of mine, Jasmine. Mystic has taught me that hide-and-seek is not just for kids; it can be fun at any age. Peek-a-boo is another favorite.

We all need more play in our lives, especially because life is so fast-paced. These simple games make a day more special and help us unwind. Mystic helps me look at life differently. She looks at everything as an adventure. She is quiet fun. She gets a sudden light in her eyes when she plays. Pets reconnect us to the innocence and joy that we can find in the simple things – and to our childhood before we had to be grown-ups.
