Finding the Right Place

It never ceases to amaze me that when something or someone has found their right place. Things start to flow with more ease; less clutter where there used to be. It took me almost six years to get a drawer cleaned out because I was so busy. When I would look at this drawer I didn’t even know what I wanted that drawer to be. I had the same problems with other areas of the room too. Part of the biggest problem was that the previous resident had started so many projects and not finished them. There was chaos in almost every room which made the energy of the rooms feel exhausting.

In the years, that I’ve lived here. I’ve tackled some pretty daunting projects to get the energy of the house to calm down and feel less exhausting. It took almost the eleven years to get things repaired or replaced. This last year was a really big win. Projects that had waited over ten years were finally within reach of being finished. These repairs have made the house feel more complete. Last night, after looking at some organizational tools for kitchens. I finally found an example of  shelves that I have near my sink. They have a use and until last night, was never able to find an example of how they are used.  As soon as,  I got the idea I moved the dried beans in jars to the shelves. The kitchen now looks more put together than it has since I moved in.

I also feel like our space does mimic our lives. As we get more clarity it dominoes into other areas of  our lives as well.
